Ned is a social scientist at the USGS Fort Collins Science Center. He conducts qualitative research on users of Landsat and other Earth Observation data to understand how EO data is used, how users benefit from both public and commercial data sources, and how these data add value within the broader EO data ecosystem. He is also a PhD student at University of Wisconsin Madison's Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies.
