Jonathan is a data scientist/architect with the Environmental Informatics group in CSIRO. He has expertise in information and web architectures, data integration (particularly Linked Data), data analytics and visualisation. Dr Yu is currently the technical lead for the Loc-I project (or Location Index), which is a platform to enable and improve location-based integration of data in Australia via a spatial knowledge graph(http://loci.cat); and the CSIRO Knowledge Network - a dataset search engine for to enable discovery and access to government, scientific, academic and spatial data (https://knowledgenet.co). Jonathan is co-developing a Linked Data for netCDF data standard as part of an OGC working group (see https://github.com/opengeospatial/netCDF-Classic-LD/) - this aims to enabling netCDF files to be interpreted as RDF graphs for semantic interoperability and reasoning.
